Presentation audit
How do you think you or your team fare against the competition?
We win and we sometimes fail, yet rarely do we have an independent assessment as to how effective our presentations are against our competition. Over the years I've noticed the same organisations making the same mistakes so I've put together a program that will help you understand where you, or your company could improve your presentation skills.
Using a standardised scale measuring over seventy different presentation attributes, I video, analyse, measure and assess your presentation.
What do you measure?
The audit process measures both the major and minor attributes that make up a presentation based on NRT© principles researched at Cass Business School London. Key topics include:
- Audience analysis
- Visual material
- Bodylanguage
- Vocality
- Content delivery
- Storytelling
Who is this audit suitable for?
This process is especially useful as part of the annual sales and marketing planning process. Clients often conduct this process annually to counter market trends and changes in the competitive landscape.
What will I receive as part of the audit?
The audit delivers a comprehensive report with a score against each attribute and a graphical executive summary to help understand where your report fares against the average, and previous audits if applicable. Contained within the conclusion will be recommendations as to what areas you can improve on, and a timed process to achieve it.
How long does the audit take?
The whole process from data capture to completed report takes 3-5 days depending on the complexity of the presentation. I can either capture a live presentation, or one setup specifically for this audit. Alternatively, if you have a presentation already recorded, I'll be happy to analyse this.
How do I get started?
To work effectively, a presentation audit needs commitment from the senior management team in the same way a financial audit does. You or your organisation need to make the commitment to execute the audit and act upon the recommendations made in the report. Once you're ready, drop me a line and we can get started.
